I am so excited! World Champions!!

Cards won the m.f. world series!!!

If only we had all bet on this awhile ago - we'd be rich.

And my boy Eckstein is MVP, oh I'm blissfully happy. I would have approved of it being Molina as well - but Eckstein plays baseball how it should be played and I'm sooo happy for him. We won without the big hitters doing almost anything!!

I want the reporter who said "the hardest thing for the tigers was going to be hiding their smiles as they beat the cards" to be forced to swallow his fist.

There were WashU parents in town this weekend and a bunch of them were watching the game. They weren't Tigers fans but the kept saying, "There's no way the cardinals will win - they suck. blah, blah, blah, bad team, blah, never any good" - I wanted to ask them if they'd been blind for the last couple weeks.

This is a dumb, dumb post... WE WON!!

Life likes kicking my ass...

I haven't been able to get any sewing done (sorry no team up SK8). I have a new idea to make my fluff birds a lil smaller and sew a ribbon into them and - tah-dah - ornaments. But if I don't get on that soon it will be too late.

Life, it's a fugger.

One of our managers has had to step down and now it's back to 3 kids doing a 5 kid job. And one of the 3 is preggers - so then it will be 2.

Every time I think I can breathe easier and not be such a workaholic something like this happens. And right before the crazy holiday season!!

I can't wait for mng evaluations. They do 'em in November and I think if mine are too negetive I will fall to pieces.

Ooooh, and all the drama that's sure to start...I just feel numb.

Loop In Motion

As part of my job (oddly enough) I'm responsible for selling employees wares all day during Loop In Motion. Generally I try to get some things made so I can sell my stuff as well. Here I am with the folks that sat out there with me - notice how awake we look and how atractivly set up our table is not:



This was my most productive (creatively and financially) year so far. I spent all day Wednesday and Thursday sewing and produced 18 funny looking babies (or stuffed animals). Here they are - a couple sold before my mom came by and took pictures:

They all sold but a couple and I made $130 - why can't I get anything done when I don't have a deadline?
